The 1A plain round piping tip is a large tip with a wide, perfectly circular mouth — the shape you reach for when the finish has to be smooth rather than textured. The body is big for a decorating tip and the bore runs smooth from base to opening, so icing arrives as one even ribbon. It pipes clean outlines, fills cupcakes and eclairs in one pass, writes lettering, and drops even dots across a whole tray.
