No. 899 is a giant closed star piping tip in seamless 304 stainless steel. Its 22 mm opening is roughly 70% wider than a medium closed star tip, and the six closed teeth cut deep, unbroken ridges — which is what you need when the swirl is the product rather than the trim: a soft-serve style cone, a full meringue zephyr, a piped marshmallow, or a cupcake dome that has to look generous from across a market stall.
It is drawn as one seamless piece with no welded joint, so there is no seam for icing to catch on, and the tip number is stamped on the body so your next reorder matches this one exactly.
